We've built a simple website for users to quickly highlight floors or buildings with our new Coverage App. This is an easy way to create imagery for real estate presentations that can quickly communicate building, tenant or market information. The app works in any of the 50 cities around the world that have been enabled in the Cube Cities system and can be expanded to any urban areas on request.

We've been included for a second time in KPMG's Real Estate Innovators Overview produced by their global headquarters in Amsterdam. It's exciting to be listed amongst companies like Floored and Matterport as the top innovators in the world for virtual reality and 3D applications in real estate. We attended the 2017 MIPIM property show in Cannes last week to see what was new in the world of real estate development and marketing technology. We were pleased to see our customers Ivanhoé Cambridge and Altus Group in attendance at this premier event for large and small participants in almost every sector of the real estate industry. Interior visualization company Matterport was also at the show along with many other new technology firms focused on space visualization and geomatics. MIPIM will organize a technology focused event, Proptech in New York on October 11th this year which we look forward to attending.
Of special note at MIPIM were the major installations of city models from local city governments across the world, especially the exhibits put on by the City of London, Paris, Moscow, Istanbul and Dubai. The show is primarily an investment-oriented event where institutional funds from around the globe can come together to get a sense of the hottest up and coming projects to invest capital.
AusPat, the Australian Government's IP authority has granted a patent to Cube Cities for our 3D visualization technology for buildings. We're excited about the potential of deploying our services to Australian cities and leveraging this new IP asset. Read more about our Australian patent here.
Cube Cities has developed an innovative process of geolocating Matterport-captured space within a building. Using our coordinate-based drawing system, we can highlight exactly where a Matterport space is located in a property. The result is improved spatial awareness of where space is located on a floor or multiple floors, how the space is oriented and its relation to neighbouring properties.
Additionally, the service allows a Matterport user's collection of VR spaces to be visualized across a skyline.

In 2013 The Municipal Art Society of New York published a report called The Accidental Skyline that investigated the shadows that will be cast onto Central Park from the supertall skyscrapers under construction and planned for midtown and especially along 57th Street. The report contains examples of traditional urban planning diagrams that illustrate the shadow projections from different times of year and allow stakeholders to understand the extensive shadowing that many of these "pencil towers"will project over the park.
Using the shadow functionality now available with Cesium, we've created a visualization of this shadowing phenomenon from eight of the largest buildings recently constructed and planned for midtown. The video shows the shadows casted by the buildings as the sun rises and sets on September 21st, the same date chosen by the MAS as indicative of a typical fall day in Manhattan. Visualizations like these are not only important urban planning tools but are necessary communication devices to help the public understand the impact to public spaces from large developments and allow for informed civic engagement.

Floor Plan Explorer: American Machine & Foundry Building
With the innovations that the Cesium mapping platform have made recently to easily convert and load SketchUp models into the 3D map its easy to combine our floor-level markup with a high-quality photo-textured model of a property to show precisely where information like floor plans are located. This is a compact web app that works on mobile devices and gives brokers and property managers an easy way to share floor plans and suite-level building information.
Our floor-level visualizations of Manhattan are looking wonderful and performing very quickly with the latest version of Cesium. Customers are using them to showcase their commercial real estate databases in 3D to expose available office space, show tenant moves, highlight lease expiries and more. Below are two high resolution images of Lower Manhattan and the Park Avenue submarket, as mapped by CBRE. Open the images (right click and save them after opening them) and try printing them to see just how refined the image quality can be with Cesium. Great for presentations and quick communicating what's happening in one or many submarkets in New York City.
